DESCRIPTION:THE EVENT\nIsland of Men is a men’s wellbeing event held in Melbourne\, designed as a full‑day gathering focused on personal growth\, connection\, purpose\, and mental/emotional wellbeing. \nIt is a unique experience that provides something different for each individual:\n– For some men\, it is a welcome reprieve from the pressures of life\, a lifting of the weight of expectation that has been placed on them by work\, family and society.\n– For others\, it is a place to realise and release limiting stories\, unhealthy relationships & behaviours that no longer serve.\n– And for the majority of the attendees\, it is just a place to feel at home with other blokes who want to learn\, grow and be happy. \nTHE WORKSHOP\n\nFew experiences shape our relationships more than feeling understood – or misunderstood. When words land differently than intended or when assumptions replace curiosity\, connection becomes strained.\n\nIn this workshop\, you will play games to explore patterns about misunderstanding and being misunderstood\, and learn tools to build relationships where both people feel genuinely received\n\n
