DESCRIPTION:As human beings we are assumption making machines.\nAlthough crucial to help us make sense of a complex world whilst preserving our time and energy\, when left unchecked\, assumptions can get in the way of relationships as our minds tend to jump to conclusions\, fill in the blanks\, and assume we know what someone means. \nThis workshop is an invitation to discover what becomes possible when we stop relating to our story of someone and start relating to the actual person in front of us by using one of the most powerful relational tools we have\, our own curiosity. SUMMARY:The Authentic Relating Co-Lab
DESCRIPTION:Overview\nThe Authentic Relating co-lab is for people who already know the basics and want to use their relating skills for deeper connection\, leadership\, and co‑creation. \nOver the course of the weekend\, the group (6 to 10 participants) will move through 4 different spaces: Beginnings\, Belonging\, The Experiment\, and Endings. \nBeginnings\, Belonging\, and Endings are facilitated relational experiences.\nThey are held by a structure -paired games\, group activities\, facilitated shares\, and open conversation- that will be shaped in real-time by the group’s presence and desires.\nIt’s where you can reflect\, reveal and be seen by others in what those themes mean to you: How do you meet strangers? How do you know you belong to a group? What are your patterns when it is time to say goodbye? \nThe Experiment is a fully collaborative and emergent experience. A mystery that is to be shaped.\nIt is the heart of the co-lab. The group will drive the experience together: choose a theme\, design the activity/ies\, … and experience it all.\nIt’s where your relational leadership will be tested: How much can you get in touch with and communicate what you want? How do you react when your voice is not listened to?
